Whilst its easy to say Steam is being sketchy. There is the issue that quite a few early access games are not really early access, just the latest, or even lagging behind version available from one of the monthly sub sites. Maybe Steam doesn't want that sort of model?

It seems to be getting harder to find a quality game amongst all the games coming out fast at the moment

As much as GenAI would make it much easier to reach for my aspirations, I just can't get behind it at the moment. Which is a shame because each generation of GenAI is starting to look... pretty good
