It has been such a joy to have @jayhulmepoet.bsky.social as our conference poet at @biaptheology.bsky.social this week bringing beautiful poetry about liminality, change, death and obscure saints.

Last night we reinstated a @biaptheology.bsky.social tradition - the conference photo. We didn’t quite have everyone. This has been a great week and a wonderful way to bow out as Chair. Thank you all for your contributions.

A joyful workshop at BIAPT sharing my Faith Development model. It saddens me that so many people have had the words “You can’t…” spoken over them by art teachers (or music teachers). I believe in a Creator God who created creatures for co-creation. “You can be creative.”

@biaptheology.bsky.social Conference day two kicks off for me with a fab workshop on Playlisting the Life Cycle with Hannah Buckley and Stephen Roberts based on autoethnographic work on sharing playlists they each created for a long road trip.

And we’re started with @biaptheology.bsky.social Just done my chair’s welcome and now Jay Hulme our conference poet is sharing some wonderful wisdom on obscure saints and death as part life.

Joining the ProfDoc students conference for their keynote from the epic Nicola Slee and already feeling really buoyed up by the BIAPT community and all these wonderful people talking about the research drawn from and inspiring their ministerial practice.

Really beautiful worship this evening at @riponcuddesdon.bsky.social as people were invited to reflect on brokenness through shards of pottery then offer that to God by gluing the pottery shards to the cross.

Great to work with some prospective @riponcuddesdon.bsky.social students this evening

Current and former students may smile wryly to see one of the ways I am cutting some of the 20k words I need to trim from my book. Yes, I hear you… teacher mark thy self 😂
