My poem, "Dot," has been published in PROSETRICS: THE LITERARY MAGAZINE out of Amsterdam. The theme was "whelve," which means, "to turn (as a dish or vessel) upside down usually to cover something."

I think the most wrenching discovery that my years on "X" gave me is just how many Americans are not only heartless and soulless, but how many are deliberately cruel and vicious -- including our so-called "leaders." Bone-chilling.

Just received notice that the man who brought my books into being has died. In light of that and in the times we are living, that last stanza of a poem I dedicated to him in my first collection hit me hard ... the world is a lesser place for me now.
