Dear eBay, thanks for “streamlining” my email prefs by ignoring my opt-out and signing me up for all your marketing. Truly revolutionary customer experience. 🙃

How about letting users keep their original choices instead?

This makes no sense. $3100/month regardless of usage. How is this the AWS way.

My cardinal vote would be based solely on which one would make the better play on words. Pope Ey and Pope Urple being my number one and two choice. #conclave

Gemini was just released on my pixel phone. It set an alarm no progblem. Then I asked it to set a reminder and told me it couldn't until I linked a workspace account. Disabled it and went back to the old assistant.

Only half way through but really enjoying it over the movie. Carey's writing is so emotional, the way he describes Melanie's thoughts and feelings is so endearing.

@davemichels.bsky.social interesting to you, I hope.
If you haven't been tracking, RCS texting is rolling out end-to-end encryption using MLS. This is a huge triumph of the IETF and the collaborative approach to creating internet-grade protocols championed there.

RCS texting updates will bring end-to-end encryption to green bubble chats
Lack of encryption was one SMS shortcoming that RCS was created to solve.

First They Charged

First, they charged for AI, and no one paid,
"We don’t need this," the people said,
So the servers sat silent, the projects delayed,
And they schemed up another way instead.
