I’m not sure it’s reasonable for defenders to not be expecting the keeper to come and claim crosses. It’s a fundamental part of the position.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt… but he’s shown himself repeatedly to be a liability at crosses, at being caught with the ball at his feet, questionable ability to read through balls… and I’m not sure how many keepers have been caught out not once, but twice with the 8 second rule.

Yeah, it was bad. Strange too, considering the players literally have their names on their backs - not that that should matter. Incompetent at best, not sure how to describe it at its worst.
