CA #Prop50 generally running about +5 compared to Harris 2024 vote... and then there's greater Los Angeles, where over 4 million voters shifted +15. Makes you wonder if there are any local issues that might make LA voters unhappy with the Republican congress? www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Well, I think we've all learned a valuable lesson. And if there's one thing we can count in, it's that the American electorate will remember that it doesn't like fascism for years to come.

I feel one million years old here, but we do actually have a pretty reliable way of knowing what news is true. Did a real newspaper publish it? Then probably yes. Can’t find it in a real newspaper? Maybe not.
A large majority of U.S. adults now get news digitally, but nondigital news consumers are less likely to say they extremely often or often encounter inaccurate news.
