YUP! As a military officer my TS clearance took quite awhile, actually almost 6 months. People getting high level security clearances without a deep dive is deeply disturbing to me. It should be disturbing to FREAKING EVERYONE IN THE US!!!!

YUP - SPEAK UP!!!
My wife and I are career military survivors under DADT and we spoke up. We saw the end of DADT through an initiative we got involved in. We spoke up about marriage equality as well and we were the first gay couple to get legally married in our county.
