Also by your definition as long as slave labor wasn’t involved aka local farmers market maybe a neighbor? Because if it’s been harvested, packed, or shipped, slave labor by your definition has been used. Therefore there are few ethical sources of food left.

I’m following your rabbit hole and its implications. Which you’ve finally arrived at. My rabbit hole. Welcome. And it says. It’s equally unethical to buy food from anyplace that uses slave labor by your definition. And by your definition that’s delivery, grocery, restaurant. Growing is ethical

But grocery and restaurants get their food from slave labor.

Tarrifs. Trade deals. Nobel prize. Extortion. Congress extortion. Supreme Court extortion. Protection raquet. Extortion. It must end. We need to impeach and remove them all.

If all food, except home grown food is unethical, then only people who grow their own food are not ontologically evil. And the rest of us who can’t afford land for food are evil. I’d argue the evil ones are in control of housing and food supply. & we aren’t free to make ethical choices

That’s thin at best. By that measure everyone must grow, store, and prepare their own food because of how most food is grown, harvested, and transported using fossil fuels and slave labor. In order to grow food one needs land. But one can’t afford land. So all food sources are unethical unless grown
