I think Casey Kasey brought it up every week that “Somebody’s Watching Me” was in the top 40; I probably have some mention of it on a cassette buried in my parents’ house from the days when I would tape the American Top 40 off the radio

Michael Jackson’s presence on the song was heavily marketed/publicized! I’m surprised there was any controversy around it.
