the pioneer v10 is nice for having comps on all the channels so that makes actual gain staging efficient IMO but without the comps it can sound very digitally clippy/blown out

for me i just like being able to run the gain hot (i play a lot of older rips and records so its nice to be able to use the gain properly) xones are 100% analog so you can’t technically clip wheras pioneer only the master out is analog so the channels aren’t really great for using the gains

everyone who doesn’t own a xone hates playing on the xone. if you’re playing records i think xone is the way to go
