Waiting for train in Springfield on a day Jimmy Carter lies in State in Capitol and will take his final train home soon. Lincoln, Carter & now Trump. Disgrace called into relief by history. As Steinbeck says at end of Grapes of Wrath: “the people, the people”. That’s how we prevail.
