I love sports. Write about the Cleveland Guardians for CLESportsTalk.com. Also follow the MLB at large, NBA (Cavs), NHL (Blue Jackets) and NASCAR (Bubba Wallace/Denny Hamlin).
Can he have one more really great FIBA World Cup or Olympics showing? Think it would go a long way in cementing.

Not to slow your roll, but I've heard both that shooting is too easy and too hard and the AI passes up layups for threes too often. But these are just things I've heard.
More than anything, I feel like there are 2 separate experiences depending on if you play online or offline.

Is there any doubt at this point?

I thought this was a great read. It is impressive the Hoerner has learned these things about himself, along with CHC & therefore they consider it in his positioning & haven't messed with trying to make him lift more balls at the plate.
My only disagreement is him being a better fielder than Gimenez.

Wouldn't be Florida if the sky didn't look like the heavens could open up and start pouring rain at any moment.

Agreed. I feel like Boone and the Yankees ride umpires more than anyone else. At some point some umpires aren't going to like that and its going to cost you some calls.

Seemed like the contenders up front were willing to let him ride around up there until it got closer to the end and then got him out of their real quick.

Interesting that you are so confident he won't see that much time in Columbus considering he played legitimately half a season for the Islanders on multiple occasions. I guess that would say something about both organizations.

I do agree that there does seem to be some character or decision-making issues there. He has bounced around a lot already for a young player with a coveted skill, too.

The fandom in this city is strange. The Browns get followed through every tribulation, but I think you're right though maybe exaggerating slightly about the Cavs and Guards. Both teams have a loyal following, but is definitely smaller.

There are days, and maybe my perception is off, but I don't perceive them to be very common though. Usually there is some game being played most days, even if not on national TV.

There's irony in training the body and mind to make the quick-trigger decisions that Wemby was preparing for, by doing so in a mindset and philosophy that requires this "own sense of time".

Appreciate learning about the perspective he has taken after his ailment at the end of the season.
August 4, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Yeah, gotcha. 4 straight days off doesn't make sense at all, especially if a lot of travel isn't involved.

I wonder if they will expand the schedule along with the teams in the league. That could help too.

Trending in the right direction at the right time. Won 5 in a row, 8 of their last 10, hopefully getting healthy and assembled for the stretch run.

Are they the 3rd best team in the league after Min and NY?
August 4, 2025 at 7:53 PM
Maybe this is silly, but this is probably where having fewer teams than the other big leagues comes into play. There are literally just fewer opportunity for there to be a game every day.
I agree with your premise though. In the W's position you should want as much exposure as you can get.
