It's insane to me that there is not an independent media commission in Germany like we have in the Netherlands, where people can sue the media for reporting misinformation and demand rectification. Then, again, I can also see how such a comittee in Germany would be like the antisemitism beauftragte

I am not sure if you're talking about Die Linke, but they are rapidly changing for the better, both on Ukraine and on Gaza. Partly under influence of cooperation with Ukranian lefts the tankies are now in the minority and the majority sees weapon deliveries to Ukr as nessesary. Can still oppose NATO

The Israeli government doesn't care about what happens to Iran once the IRGC threat is neutralised by shattering the Iranian state. Netanyahu probably views postwar Iran as a problem for US, China and the EU to fix.

This is not a repeat of American wars in the region.

It's much worse.
