A xkcd webcomic called Ten Thousand. First panel reads: I try not to make fun of people for admitting they don't know things. Because for each thing "everyone knows" by the time they're adults, every day there are, on average, 10,000 people in the is hearing about it for the first time. Below the text are some napkin math equations (napkin math being rough estimates). Fraction who have heard of it at birth = 0% Fraction who have heard of it by 30 =(about) 100% US birth rate=(about) 4,000,000 per year Number hearing about it for the first time =(about) 10,000 per day (This is my editorial comment: the exact math doesn't matter here, it's the spirit of it) Second panel: If I make fun of people, I train them not to tell me when they have those moments. Brain has decided it doesn't want to focus on non fiction for now, so I have decided it's time for some trash (I do legit enjoy these for a few books even as a yell at Richard for sucking basically always, but then they turn into mirth/trainwreck reads that are still entertaining lol)

If you don't see them immediately, it's worth taking 10-15 to watch, making sure your eyes dark adapt a bit. Turn your phone brightness way down to help with that. Just took this one! They change surprisingly quickly so give it a little bit if you can.

The wonky initial pot (counting got waaaay away from lol) on top of the far more accurate second one. I kept the first tho cause it was the first real thing I made and it makes me smile to think about how off I made it.

Finished the pattern! Might add pockets, I don't think that will be too difficult to improvise something to at least hold my phone. It's a bit bigger than I meant, oops, and I really am not sure yet whether I'll lay it to block it lol. #crochet 🧶
Me wearing a green crochet cardigan over my blue dress in my bedroom. It is in a diamond pattern, falls just below my butt, and the sleeves go about three quarter arm length. There are still loose ends visible. Same cardigan showing the back over my shoulder. The diamond pattern is very visible on my upper back.
