And it's interesting Sen Mark Warner voted NO calling it a very short term fix that ignores the ACA funding problem.

As one friend says they caved as they always do, another said Dems always cave because they, unlike GOP, have a heart and hate seeing people suffer.
I'm not sure if that was the reason for Kaine, for example, to get his 130000 fed workers their pay and jobs guaranteed, but the GOP will NEVER care!

Yes. Donald's big bill rules removes the exclusion of 80 hrs of work required for food stamp access (which will greatly cut the amount one would get anyhow!) for military veterans. They now have to work 80 hrs a month to qualify for food help.
Same for homeless people, also a preposterous demand.

Exactly. Two people I know who voted for him three times are a 64 yr old retired female pediatrician who has a trans son that hates her, and my eldest sibling who was 59. Both listen to podcasts/AM radio all day long for their info. And we can guess how much work to get accurate info they put in!
