I think what shocks me is how many people expected him to be rescued this season - where's the drama in that? He's got to destroy the Vees from within whilst freeing himself from Rosie AND he still has a favour from Charlie to cash in

He's right where he wants to be

-messing with Vox's head
-causing fractures in the Vees
-staying away from Rosie and the hotel and the so-called "friends" (who clearly worry about him 🙄)
-being close to the action without actually getting in harm's way
-fun wheelie chair 😁

We don't know yet how much Alastor has hidden from her about his injury. Al has a reputation of disappearing & doing whatever he wants, her conflicting emotions are kinda accurate

Charlie did...until Vaggie flippantly said "he's fine, don't worry about it, now back to..." 😑

*Charlie grabs him & hugs him as he starts to cry*
"I'm here now, Alastor. I'm here and I promise, we're gonna figure this out together!"

I think Vox is going to sacrifice Lucifer to prove his total dominion over hell(only he still doesn't believe redemption is real, so if Lucifer doesn't resist & says he'll die for his daughter, then maybe he'll go back up to heaven..to Lilith..)

so they'll think Angel has either betrayed them or be so worried about getting him away from the Vees that they won't notice that Lucifer is missing...

Out of all the cast, so far the only one who's made any theatre references is Lucifer...

I love how easily their team is falling apart, both with Alastor toying with their insecurities & Vox steamrolling over Val & Vel.
Wouldn't it be great if Val's redemption arc was him helping Charlie overthrow Vox in season 3??
