Imo, MV/Los Altos are Peninsula, on the border, and Sunnyvale and Cupertino are South Bay. It's an arbitrary border really, based on vibes growing up on the peninsula and how far south I would go 😂 I'm always surprised they're in Santa Clara county and not San Mateo
