gen 2 really encouraged playing cheesy and doing evil bullshit.

I probably should have just posted this - putting aside childhood bias 8 Wii U is alright, 8 DX's changes feels like it's trying to cater to the 64/DD oldheads who don't play Mario anymore, like where is the demographic??? The BCP also creates a wild quality gap between Wii U

reached Indigo Plateau with this team. this game is really good tbh my biggest criticism (?) is that the god awful trainer AI really cripples the difficulty after around the 5th gym badge.
I've swept through the last 3 gyms while being almost 15 levels below them. i'll have to see how E4 stacks up
