It’s my last night of semi-retirement before heading back to part-time work tomorrow…and it’s pouring down rain, but I’m not complaining - we can use it, and that’s what carports are for! Cheers!

In an attempt to mollify Hannah somewhat for the arrival of and attention being given to Saffy The Rescue Puppy, I presented her with a brand new catnip stuffed banana. So, yes. Hannah has a banana. And she is stoned. 😸

Making croissants is a ridiculously long process (2 days if you time it all right!) but when the cabin smells like a French bakery in the morning, and friends enjoy them later in the day, entirely worth it. #HappyThanksgiving!

OK, so this is SO me…retired for about 5 minutes and I’m rescuing a dog. World, meet “Saffy” - short for Sapphire - a Blue Heeler given up to the pound by her owner who could not care for her and intercepted before she got there by a friend of my neighbor’s….and the rest is herstory!
