Put with the establishment democrats, in with people like me: focused on improving the economic and social lives of the PEOPLE. I thought we wanted government by the people and for the people? I’m a people. Tennessee can lead into the future.

I will just put this out there. If all the senators who are saying they want to block this bill really wanted to badly enough they could force Schumer's hand. This isn't 'if Mike Pence has courage'. A leader doesn't buck the overwhelming majority of his caucus. Doesn't happen.

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.
