Very interesting to see Qualcomm pushing hard about on-device AI to an audience with lots of regulatory & policy folk

Wonder what backstory & objectives are?

Maybe “make sure WiFi AI gateways have secure & friendly chips / platforms” (ie vs Chinese rivals)

Or vs Nvidia?

Focus on on-device inc WiFi gateway / car / phone etc

IMO the “edge cloud” = 10-50MW datacentre in a tier 2 / 3 city

One of the questions explored at the recent #6G for the Real World workshop was "what is 6G's core purpose?

For 3G, 4G & 5G it's fairly easy to come up with a one-line objective - and assess if it was met or not.

For 6G, it's not so obvious
