Yesterday at the US-Russia talks in Saudi-Arabia, Russia demanded full control of the 4 Ukrainian territories it currently occupies in part.

A new merged dataset on attitudes towards #democracy in #Ukraine is now available: It consists of 7 nationwide public opinion surveys conducted between 2004-2024 and is a great resource for scholars working on #democratization. The dataset is in #OpenAccess: discuss-data.net/dataset/0287...

Reading recommendation: This article uses survey data from #Ukraine in order to find out, if #Russian attacks reduce Ukrainian's support for continuing the fight. While they heavily affect the happiness of Ukrainians, the attacks do not shake the belief in victory.

Russian Field is said to be a pollster with reliable #data from #Russia. Recently, they conducted their 16th #survey wave about the Russian #war against #Ukraine. It shows a new record of respondents who prefer negotiations (53%) instead of continuing the war (36%). More data: russianfield.com/svo16
