After last years celeriac got ravaged by slugs this years harvest isn’t looking too bad. The question is when should we look to harvest them? 🤔

Still getting a lot from the allotment. Most of the outdoor tomatoes have been harvested, lots of cherry tomatoes left still under cover to go.

In the 6 years I’ve been using the @a38cycleway.bsky.social I saw a road sweeper on it for the first time this morning, if I ride that way tomorrow I’m hoping all the gravel and leaf debris will have been swept away!

Todays tayberry harvest from the allotment, with plenty more ripening. We can normally harvest this amount every day for a few weeks. I’ll pop most of them in the freezer to make jam with autumn raspberries.
