If it’s our “patriotic duty” to be healthy, then government has a duty to provide the means to achieve that

Universal healthcare
Paid time off
Clean air
UBI

They don’t want to provide those things because it isn’t about health, it’s about blaming the chronically ill so they can be eliminated

It's really simple. Either the UK finally gives in to the inevitable, and gives everyone a proper unconditional Universal Basic Income, reflecting the destruction of so many industries by Capitalism… Or the Mad Max era begins.

Abusive behaviour towards people requiring gov assistance for whatever reason needs to stop - scrap MOs forever. Treat people respectfully.

Replace with UBI - then everyone can focus on being their creative best selves.

The words ‘where no one is left behind’ sound good, but so many ARE left behind.
-disabled people
-people struggling with addictions and mental health issues.
-people living in poverty
- the working poor….just to name a few.

The answer: a liveable guaranteed basic income needs to happen.

2. After all, the ground has already been prepared on both sides of the Atlantic, as people with disabilities are accused of being workshy shirkers and subjected to brutal regimes of assessment and coercion. A target has already been put on their backs.

Vaccines are among the best of inventions. There's a high chance that without them, and the herd immunity they can deliver, you'd either not be here or would face a lifelong disability: *whether or not you had them yourself*. It seems crazy to have to point this out, but we forget it at our peril.
