It feels good to open the freezer and pull out a bag of sweet luscious peppers from last season, while looking out the kitchen window where our seedlings are growing up for this year. We hope one day to meet 100% of our yearly produce but honestly, 80% or so isn't bad for a little quarter acre yard.

I love radishes! So many colors and shapes and sizes. They grow so fast so give you that good spring productivity fix and reward you've been craving all winter. It was a chilly day but thw sun was out and the soil workable. It was a great day!

Being able to reach into the freezer and pull out a bag of home grown gloriously sweet and/or spicy peppers in the middle of winter is a privlaige. A garden is damned hard work but worth it. This pepper sauce was a delight to make and full of depth of flavor. #GrowFoodNotLawns #Atheopagan #Peppers
