A large platter of sushi and sashimi on a table. There are 12 pieces of 3 varieties pf nigiri, 12 pieces of 4 varieties of sashimi, one rainbow roll cut into 10 pieces, and 8 additional assorted slices of sushi plus a mound of ginger and like a heaping spoonful of wasabi. It was A Lot.

The starting bid is for 440 dollars so why the tub isn't included is a bit weird, even assuming bidding for 30 pounds of knives isn't weird.

The "LEFT, exit 12" meme where a car is veering sharply into a highway offramp at the last second, with its wheels over the white lines and visible smoke. Honestly, I'm looking at it now and I'm thinking the car actually slammed on the brakes because there are fresh skid marks inside the exit lines, but anyway, I digress, the meme is always used to indicate a rapid change of course and I'm using it that way now.

i gotta say that these two designs that the lovely @fringecrow.bsky.social did for me (we worked closely to hash out details) are still my absolute favorite lancer designs EVER, and even surpass the key art as the archetype of each mech for me
An illustration of a Gorgon-type mech from the TTRPG Lancer. It is almost arachnoid in appearance, with a round upper body and slip hips. Four long arms sprout from the upper body, emblazoned with hazard decals. Two knives sprout from the knuckles of one hand, seemingly printed in place, while another arm holds a knife in its fist, and yet another holds a collapsible sword with more hazard decals, which almost looks more like a tool than a weapon. The armor covering the entire mech is a series of haphazard rounded plates, not quite organic in appearance, that still manage to fit together seamlessly. Here and there, exposed wiring and tubes round between joints and across seams. Its head is tall and long, and is flat in the front but sleek around the sides and back. In the front of the face is a recessed circular sensor plate, almost reminiscent of SSC designs. The head also has two blunt trailing sensor fins. Overall, it looks as if it might have once been much sleeker and more futuristic, but was gradually modified and patched over time into what it is today. An illustration of a Störtebeker-type mech for the TTRPG Lancer. It's a tall, gaunt, grey-blue, four-armed machine with a hatchet-shaped head and a ragged brown cape over one shoulder. Its stance is bladed, with one foot in front of the other, and holds a long, menacing explosive bolt launcher, across itself. Its other three arms hold its sword and two revolver hand cannons downward pointed downward. It is deceptively relaxed, and clearly menacing.

a poem, reading as follows: please bless the poor coyote who lives where we say she shouldn't nosing through the garbage piles that rot along the freeway please aid the stray coyote and keep her from the trapper's snare pray she sniffs out all the poison pray she lives to run away please guide the lost coyote bless and keep her as she wanders may she always come back home may it all turn out okay please feed this gaunt coyote may she carry a full litter of five to eight pups or more who live to raise their own one day pray for the sly coyote may she rest in sunny places and run in open fields and may she never want for prey please love the dear coyote who lived when we said she couldn't may all her years be kind to her may she go gently on her way
