There's nothing in life like the feeling of connecting to people and knowing these are your people and you love being around them. Being isolated in a pod of strangers or odd acquaintances is equal in how uncomfortable it is.

i used to have a lot of conservative friends that i could have some rousing debates with. I never really doubted their basic integrity. MAGA is an infection- not a political ideology. They are fascists. Debate is not in them.
