The company hired a "Human Connor," who is called that to avoid confusion with the co-worker cat. "Human Connor" suggested that the cat be renamed "Cat Connor," but the cat outranks "Human Connor" and thus there is no re-naming.

Also, because I'm lazy and don't want to check, is Joey admitted to practice in the 2nd Circuit? According to their How to Appeal doc, there's not a lot of pro hac vice admissions.
It looks as if an attorney has to be admitted to practice in the 2nd Circuit. Pro hac vice only happens for IFP or exceptional circumstances.

Quickly scanning through Judge Liman's most recent order, I don't think this bodes well for Rudy's homestead claim (IANAL)
"To the contrary, Defendant mostly argues that the testimony of the witnesses--and, for that matter, of Defendant himself--is irrelevant. He argues that the administrative decision of the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser that the Defendant qualified for a homestead TAX exemption ... is preclusive of the separate question whether Defendant has established a homestead..." This 'is not an issue that would be properly adjudicated before this Court...just on this basis alone' Defendant has established that the Florida condo is his homestead."

Judge Liman orders Andrew to keep 3 of the WS rings in his apartment, which surprises me (insurance liability). I'll bet he'll let Andrew to have 1, the rest go to Freeman and Moss.
Judge Liman rules that he will address the custody of 3 of the World Series rings at the pretrial conference tomorrow. Until then, Andrew is ordered to keep the rings in his apartment.
