You do know that @JDVance will be Vice President on January 6th, 2029, he will do exactly what Trump tells him to do. No fucking way will JD Vance certify the 2028 election results where Trump loses to Obama.

Really?
Did you know why these Viking descendants that took over the Slavic region from the Roman Empire stopped at Crimea? The East Roman Emperor (Byzantine) made a deal with Ivan the Terrible by giving him a wife who called Ivan, Caesar -> Tsar.

Anyone read Russian chickenscratch?

Nobody is smirking.
The quality of the image here doesn't do the finger pointing justice. The Russian interpreter has their head down to listen. Putin is clearly not amused.

So full sanctions, right?
He's going to pull away from the negotiations and adhere to the bipartisan legislation that imposed severe sanctions on Russia IMMEDIATELY, right?

This is only possible because Russia still has air superiority due to the lack of any real air support from the EU or US.

The time to force Russia to escalate their hybrid warfare is now. Divide and conquer is going to be cheaper in the long run if the EU/NATO ever find their sanity.

I didn't say gambling on Landeskog was the right decision.
I don't even suggest Sakic won that gamble because it's clear Colorado lost. I'm saying, because of the Salary Cap and Makar, Landeskog & MacKinnon . . . Sakic didn't have a choice to take a gamble.

Did Sakic make the right choice?
Win the Stanley Cup but lose Mikko Rantanen to FA. Don't doubt Mikko was gone. Colorado’s salary commitments to MacKinnon, Makar, and Rantanen were unsustainable if kept together. Add the return of Landeskog to the salary cap constraints.

Gambling on Landeskog was the right decision for Sakic to make. They might have been only a couple of million apart, and Rantanen might have settled for less, but the fact remains Colorado still couldn't afford to keep the core together without players giving discounts.

I'm not arguing.
I didn't present "arguments".

When you are done answering your question, tell me how to make an apple pie.

"At some point, everyone not from the US needs to question why they would travel to the US or stay in the US"
The second part of my sentence answers your confusion, which you perhaps didn't read after getting triggered to respond to a statement that's not an argument.

Columbus could displace Montreal.
None of the last of the schedules for Detroit, Boston or Pittsburg suggests they could realistically run the gauntlet to displace Montreal. There are too many teams in those last games still vying for playoffs or interested in keeping home ice advantage.
March 28, 2025 at 3:04 PM
In reality, only the NYI & NYR can even displace Montréal.
NYI max points = 94
NYR max points = 92
Ottawa could get a loser point in OT in all of their last 11 games and still get to 92. This is a clinchy as a clinch can get without the math saying clinch.

Except that even permanent residents – some of whom have never known life outside the US – have been detained and deported.

The US illegal immigration crackdown is next-level insane.

Non-Americans should NOT be travelling or staying there.

What a disturbing non-sequitur, Bryan.
Get your head checked, buddy.

Nobody is safe!
They detained a Canadian for weeks, then eventually deported them back to Canada. She had been in the US trying to make a go of a business for years. Nobody should ignore that going to the US is not safe. Staying is not safe!

"I'm not going to argue that the regime wrongly revoked her visa"
If you're going to attempt to question-quote me, you should quote the whole sentence.

Sounds like you are trying to associate arguments to me that I didn't make. This is Canada's PM:
- The old US relationship is over
- What the US does next is a mystery
- What is clear is we control our destiny
Stay out of the US. Stop giving them money.
