Digital Scriptorium (DS) is a consortium of North American institutions with collections of global premodern manuscripts, building an online national union catalog developed on Linked Open Data technologies and practices. https://digital-scriptorium.org
The expanded global scope of the DS Catalog has also contributed to this rapid growth, with large numbers of Islamic, Hebrew, Indic, East Asian, and Ethiopic manuscripts, among other traditions, improving our collective understanding of manuscript cultures represented in North American collections.
