Can we take a moment to thank the team at @xseedgames.bsky.social for popularizing the #Ys series in the west? Some games were released prior to 2010, but Ys didn't have a renaissance until XSEED came along with top-tier localization, physical Premium Editions, and PC ports of every game.

#YsVIII had a stealth re-release on #PSVita with 'fixed' package design to meet Canadian retail standards. The error was reported by @digitalemelas.bsky.social and picked up by the late Mike Fahey from @kotaku.com.web.brid.gy which reached NISA.

#YsVIII / #YsIX / #YsX all have playable demos on #PS4 #PS5 #NintendoSwitch #PC. It is worth noting that Ys X has the lengthiest demo clocking at a solid 6-8 hours, and your save file can be transferred to the full game. #Ys Origin also has a playable demo on PC via #Steam.
