You might find this useful... We need a public inquiry into Scotland's failure to develop a meaningful renewables manufacturing supply chain..

If this doesn't scare people in Scotland into voting for independence supporting parties next year I don't know what will.

Why can't Scotland do stuff like this @richardlochhead.bsky.social
July 12, 2025 at 10:41 AM
If that's the case why this?

What really surprises and worries me is that over 40% of Scots would actually accept a Farage led UK Govt. I genuinely thought we were better than that.

As it's VE Day +80 here's a photo of my dad sinking the Bismarck although it could have been a Mine... I can never remember which,..

Compared to our peers that $47k is still pretty poor.
April 22, 2025 at 10:10 AM
That may be true John but it is still far higher than it is in these countries.

Hmm. Problem is that the scientific findings don't correlate with other scientific findings. UK emissions are back to pre-industrial levels & represent only around 1% of the global total.

Scientists can have vested interests too.

So I'll have mine medium rare please..

@chrismurraymp.bsky.social like most Labour MPs is an economic illiterate. Child homeless levels are driven by the economy. The Scottish economy is controlled by Westminster. Norwegian and Danish child homelessness levels are dramatically lower than Scotland's.. Here's why 👇

This is what Trump has done and Farage is trying to do.
March 16, 2025 at 4:57 PM
This is what's happened in the USA and is also happening here.
March 16, 2025 at 4:56 PM
From an economic standpoint independence remains an imperative. There's no way we can implement the changes Scotland needs to even begin the catch up process to match the performance of countries like Denmark without it.
March 16, 2025 at 10:57 AM
Scotland has a great deal of experience of what happens if another country is allowed to run your economy. We are now considerably poorer than our peers.

This is still extortion.

This is extortion. Trump is running a Mafia state.

Trump has just lost whatever remnants of his credibility he had left.

Trump calls Zelensky a 'dictator' as he hits back at 'disinformation' criticism........

Thanks to the uselessness of the UK financial sector and Westminster economic ideology which is now shared by both the Tories and Labour the UK is now 11th on this list
February 17, 2025 at 9:39 AM
I have to agree wholeheartedly with this. The 50mph speed limit proposal is another self inflicted SNP vote loser..
February 7, 2025 at 3:20 PM
This does not surprise me in the least.. Low investment levels is one of Scotland's biggest obstacles to growth.
February 7, 2025 at 11:29 AM
Good grief...
