This is appalling from the Irish Times. Anyone who walks or cycles around Dublin city regularly will be only too acutely aware of the risk from drivers accelerating through amber and red lights.

Far from adding to the debate, letters like this do only one thing: stoking hostility between road users. It is divisive and antagonistic.
And all this comes in a week when three people cycling have been killed on Irish roads.

Gosh that's amazing that the government has solved the climate emergency and can fully focus on boosting aviation and growth again. Wish someone had told me earlier.
