This made the news Monday.
An update: The serval still has not been captured. The owner bought it in West Virginia. It’s been living in an apartment for the past two weeks after being purchased. Surprisingly, servals are not included under the term “dangerous animals” with Illinois state law.

He’s been the best boy while I’ve been sick. He doesn’t mind that walks are shorter and checks up on me when I nap on the couch
