Trying to overcome the terrible inertia of depression and failed bone mending so I am working on my environment, especially displaying things that make me happy. This is the Badtz Maru display so far.

A different protest - Yesterday I was awakened by crows loudly cawing in my backyard. When I went to my window I saw a huge red tailed hawk in a nearby tree. Crows often mob hawks to drive them away from their nests. What surprised me was that other smaller birds joined in. They drove it off!

Last night was the most intense storm that I have ever witnessed. We saw dozens of lightning strikes in the area. Some of the thunder even shook our house. Large hail stones, and a very small possibility of tornadoes were predicted but neither happened luckily. Climate change in action.

Got my staples out. I will have a respectable scar and set off metal detectors, but it looks good so far. Now to heal.

My surgery is scheduled for next week. Think good thoughts. In an effort to lower stress, I’ll be mostly offline until then.

I did the tests and had a follow up with my Ortho. My humerus isn't mending but there are no obvious causes so it's time to talk surgery. I am not an ideal candidate due to my diabetes and weight, so I have some work to do.
