I saw someone on my timeline shaming someone else for posting about college football in a time like this.

Folks, if we're going to survive a time like this, we're going to need to avoid burning out from an attitude of 24/7 vigilance and constant outrage.

Let people find joy where they can, please.

There is nothing an American president could do worse for his own people than starving the poor right before Thanksgiving.

Except for, I don’t know, lying about a plague and getting a million of his own citizens killed. Oh wait, let’s also not forget the time that he:

Understand what this means. Trump & Republicans are using your tax dollars and mine to pay other countries to literally torture and sexually assault people ICE abducted and deported from the US -- all without due process or any evidence they had committed a crime. Are you okay with that? I am not.

The current GOP lie is that they’re going to replace Obamacare with something better.

Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.

They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

Ask him why so many air traffic controllers are retiring at once. Ask him if it has anything to do with Reagan firing 11K union strikers in 1981 and having to replace them all at once. Ask him how the mass firings this year will impact us the same way 40 years from now. Ask him, Jake.

The same Supreme Court that just acted overnight to unleash ICE raids that break apart families and brutalize people in LA, couldn't find the time in 2024 to fast-track Jack Smith's case against a sitting president for trying to overthrow our government.

Their priorities tell you everything.

Trump’s contradictions on farmworkers echo a long history of romanticizing farming — one bound up with race, nature, exploitation, and the nation’s identity, says a historian of agriculture and labor.

‘These people do it naturally’: President Trump’s views on immigrant farmworkers reflect a long history of how farming has been idealized and practiced in America
Historically, farm work in the United States has been carefully constructed to appear natural, including the racism and labor exploitation that characterizes it, a scholar writes.

It won't stop with the American born children of immigrants, either.
Trump asks Supreme Court to strip birthright citizenship—despite nationwide block.

His order denies U.S. citizenship to children of undocumented parents, attacking the 14th Amendment itself.

This isn’t just policy—it’s an attempt to rewrite who gets to be American.
