This is why guys in kpop idol groups are globally popular with the ladies! They check every single one of these boxes with the non-music related shows & personal vlogs they post on the internet. They won. 🤣

I designed the bookmark too. It’s neat to have the finished products in your hand and see it be in society.

Events like this is fun if you haven’t been to one in a while.

Went to the party with this book I helped put together.

Real US History is so dark, so violent, so nasty it makes an exciting read at the college level… not the watered down textbooks for k-12 in the US.

Would you eat your fellow humans for your own survival? Some actually would. 🤪

🔗 jaymedyer.substack.com/p/grading-on...

For those who have never sat in math class for average US kids since 1990s, these r example of grading on a curve. Below average don’t learn algebra cause they’ll never go to college. Honors & above don’t do this cause they are gunning for top universities.

I’ve seen and walked through the server rooms of some small and large tech heavy companies including VFX houses/studios in LA.

I went to movie screenings and industry panel discussions of the VFX work done of CGI heavy films like Cars 2(2011).

If I can do this to text that means the AI data scrappers can read it. If you can’t, neither can the computer.

Totalitarian dictators and heart disease go hand-in-hand with their voracious appetite for rich foods that destroy heart, liver, and mush up the brain.

Reading reading reading… North Korea is actually more porous now than ever. Their Achilles heel, weakness, is the need for foreign currencies so they can buy weapons and imported luxuries to keep their 1% elites loyal to the leader.

The stolen Louve jewelry are pretty but many my age & younger don’t care to possess these. Pretty shiny ✨ things are no longer impossible to get. We have cheap plastic, glass, gold chrome spray on paint, cheaper metals, lab grown stones, & non-precious gemstones. You can get $10-$20 pretty things.

Avant-gard Kitsch :

The reducing of historical art objects, modern, and contemporary artistic works that makes a statement about its times into cheap consumer products.

That’s it? You want to learn how to use blender to make one of these?

“Yes!”

::sigh::

“Why are you sighing?”

I’m an adult. This isn’t my thing. 😆

May 2020. Spent a Covid summer month plowing through this 500 page book. I reviewed & self quizzed. I learned a lot of words but then life got busy with work & didn’t touch this for months. I went back & forgot a lot. The brain cell connections that grew didn’t stay.

There are a lot of OMG 😱 moments in here… Korea has been the political hockey 🏒 puck between greater international powers. “No wonder the Koreans are on a whole other level of toughness.” It was that or roll over and die as a people.

We are becoming a cashless society so decimal-fraction-percentage conversions of 1/4 is less obvious to students. I need to carry cash just to teach this. 😆

Do you know what a cylinder is? Do you know what a diameter is? I need a sphere for a planet and it needs to travel along an elliptical motion path around the star. Move the tree -25 along the Z. Can you attach the sphere to the cube and Boolean it?

These are all math words used in 3D programs.

This was when we watched the indie film I suddenly became VFX supervisor on, asked to help build an online cart for cookbooks sold by Santa Barbara nuns, worked full time at small tech company, was asked to join a jug band & learn the ukulele. Broken pencil was for drawing lessons for art students.😆

It’s been 6 months since Kpop Demon Hunters came out and the stores around here do not carry anything related to it yet. Not even keychains with anything of Korean culture.
