I think it’s also interesting that it looks like Epstein was trying to (appear to?) play Trump and anti-Trump people - dangling photos and anecdotes but at least claiming to have connections to Trump after he’s elected.

I think these are the sorts of Epstein things where people really need to remember that his whole thing was lying about his connections and we need some additional evidence for this sort of stuff.

A peculiarity of the post Nov 2016 era is an obsession with owns-Trump-campaign-merch-level Trump supporters and the fact they won’t turn against him, despite those guys not really mattering at all. I think this is because the most incomprehensible kind of guy is a “potential Trump voter”

One of my mom’s friends was a linguist/anthropologist who worked in St. Johns but was from Boston. She was explaining the concept of dialect to a local and he said “oh, like how the people on the north side [of St Johns] talk” and she had lived there 30 years and never noticed a difference.
