Mostly nonsense about the Raptors, stats and NBA salary cap.
Would be pretty funny if Bobby won an EOTY off a trade Masai made last year, just because the wins come this year.

Scottie really kept us in it with his free throw shooting and some wild defensive plays. Really impressed with JaKobe again on both ends.

Offence late devolved into some really poor looks, but they looked just exhausted. And, hey, can’t argue with the buzzer beater!

Good teams find ways to win.

And even after the big run seemed to shake the rust off, Indy got back in playing tough ball, and the Raps seemed like they were running in cement shoes. Great fight late to just keep getting stops.

Mostly Raps couldn’t hit a shot all night. Wild that shot making will be the story, thanks to BI.

Worth mentioning since I rarely do, because it’s basically a given at this point: Scottie has been consistently excellent. His defensive presence is a constant barrage in the half court, and he creates a lot more pressure on offence than the points he puts up would indicate.

Really impressed with Shead and Ja'Kobe off the bench. More good than bad from Gradey too.

First season was sooo good.

Love that Walter got his legs under him. He really is much better than he’s shown so far this year.

Fun game from Gradey, even if he was getting targeted a bit. Same with Mamu.

IQ and Shead were both key as well I thought.

Scottie and BI were both solid, IQ was really good, lots of fun stuff from CMB (along with some rookie stuff). Shead is so crucial off the bench. Another tough outing for RJ, nice of him to wake up for the last few minutes.

I thought Scottie was really good and aggressive, even with the missed shots. BI was BI. Jak was really key. Nice to see IQ get going. Shead and Mamu continue to be the key bench pieces.

Weird one to get no Ochai again. JaKobe struggled. Gradey was pretty good, even with some blips on each end.

To be fair, it would be quite the marvel if you did see a sunset in the early morning. I say stick to your story.

Overall though was a good fight throughout, got real sloppy on both ends late. Seemed kinda like the game wore the Raps down mentally trying to manage Giannis. Plan is for it to work the other way most nights. Even the FTs showed it.

Not a terrible loss. Just one you move on from, learn a bit from.
