Architeuthis may be my favorite extant animal since I was a kid and it's been SO incredible going from "yeah we only have dead ones" over that first footage of a living one in...2004? to this (and also the video of a sperm whale eating one earlier this year)
Absolutely stunning
Absolutely buzzing over this new video of a rarely seen giant squid

Joining the ranks of the Kem Kem lobe-finned fish is the giant 3m-long lungfish, Neoceratodus! This genus is still represented today by a single species, the Queensland lungfish, which gets to a substantial 1.5m long.

Re‐evaluation of a soft crested Edmontosaurin, with implications for hadrosaurid life appearance and diversity
Hadrosaurid dinosaurs are generally regarded as “crested” or “non-crested” depending on the presence or absence of a bony cranial crest. At least one supposedly “non-crested” hadrosaur is known to ha...

Thank you for everyone who chipped in to the charities in Hong Kong. Your money will help to feed the displaced and fund money to save hurt animals in the fire. So far your donations reached $4,760 (HKD). Thank you for supporting Tai Po survivors.
Doodles for Hong Kong 🇭🇰

In response to the tragic Tai Po fire, I'm doing charity commissions. Anyone who puts over £25/250HKD into "Feeding Hong Kong" or Hong Kong SPCA can request a coloured doodle of any prehistoric animal 🙏

For how famous the original Walking with Dinosaurs made it, Ornithocheirus is a very messy genus, with over 40 species assigned to it historically. Nowadays, only one species of Ornithocheirus remains, known from the UK and the Kem Kem (maybe!).
