Recluse DJ, collector of a lot of physical media. Probably loads of photos of my cat looking at records I have bought.
I wholeheartedly agree with this view point.
The funny thing is, Tarantino is always the worst actor in every one of Tarantino’s movies

You know this is going to be special
My tribute to Dave Ball of Soft Cell and The Grid airs today on NTS  at 12pm PST. Dave’s music was a huge influence on my teenage identity and also the sound of Dark Entries. I was lucky to work with Dave on a reissue of “Blue Pyramid” his Jack The Tab acid house song from 1988. 🙃 nts.live

The Repair Shop with Werner Herzog:
Guest: "Stunning work, thank you"
WH: "How do you feel seeing this object, a symbol of your dead wife? Though constructed of crude, worthless materials, it has been resurrected like some cheap miracle, mocking your grief and dead wife, now condemned to oblivion."

@briangaar.bsky.social I saw Austin and thought of you...
"Fearless, reckless, and probably involving psychedelic drugs—the vital elements percolating throughout Someday All the Adults Will Die!, a remarkable story of becoming that plays out in a bygone era of weird Austin, told by much of its original cast."

Every damn time, I buy tickets on Skiddle, make sure that I have not opted in to anything, then start getting emails from Skiddle about upcoming events. Swear down they need to be more visible.

I still regularly think about the time Asda FM played the Frankie Knuckles remix of Blind.
I mostly discover new music via Asda FM these days

Just saw a kid sat in the seats opposite being given a Soundwave Transformers toy as a present. I guess it's not the 80s anymore and a bit redundant having him transform into a walkman
