Looking at the no shows who didn’t vote is so preposterous. Constituents see right through this. These politicians could have blocked this bill for both Rs and Ds who mostly don’t want this to happen but are too scared to stand up for what their constituents want! This is a huge loss.

It seems like rather than a protest, we need to try and stop the parade or at least put pressure on them to not have it be funded by taxpayers. We need to keep pushing the “how is spending $45 million in taxpayer dollars saving us money?”

When my husband told me about this yesterday, I didn’t believe him. After realizing it was true, it affected the rest of my day. Joy gets to the bottom of serious issues not discussed in this way elsewhere. She does so with humor, integrity and sincerity. She will still be a force to reckon with!
