FINALLY finished Season 2 of "The Devil's Plan" (Netflix). I say FINALLY because I was dragging my feet with the last couple of episodes because, in my view, the most grating, contemptible players made it to the end and I had little to no interest to hit the Play button and watch any of them win.

Given that Season 4 of #TheBear was recently released, I decided to finally binge Season 3… Sadly, outside of a couple of episodes, I thought it was mostly limp and such a slog. Kinda felt like they lost balance on whatever high wire they were walking: Languid became boring; charming, annoying; etc.

Given that Season 4 of #TheBear was recently released, I decided to finally binge Season 3… Sadly, outside of a couple of episodes, I thought it was mostly limp and such a slog. I'm aware that the world's finding new ways to burn on the daily; My resulting mental decline only documented via my Instagram Story. That's all to say that I'm delving into art to recharge my spirit, and that's probably the shape my posts will take for the foreseeable future; free & frivolous. ✌🏽️

Just finished my 4th playthrough of #NineSols ; all but the first were 100% attempts (first one was like 98%). Love the progressive improvement. 🤓 Finally ready to move on from it and get to the pile of games on my list. Next up, "Animal Well". 👾

Finished my second playthrough of #NineSols yesterday (my first 100% completion), and I'm about halfway through my third. These are all back-to-back playthroughs, that's how much I love the game. Probably my favorite video game of all time. 🫢🤓 I don't think enough people are talking about it.

My campaign to block out the dumpster fire that is the world right now, and get lost in art continues… Recently finished "Prince of Persia - The Lost Crown" for the first time, and finishing up my replay of "Metroid Dread". Now, finally, downloading "Nine Sols"… really looking forward to this one.

Just when I think the filmmaking & storytelling on #Severance couldn't get any better, along comes S02E07. Without a doubt, my favorite episode of the series thus far, and no, I haven't forgotten that the S01 finale exists. I suspect it'll only develop more depth as the greater story unfolds.

No spoilers. Just finished watching S02E04 of #Severance and I can't believe how the showrunners are consistently outdoing themselves. The storytelling is giving such great character moments & cliffhangers; The filmmaking more gorgeous, stunning, surreal images. It's such a light in the dark.
