That's interesting as it seems to be one of the things the judges loved. It's not calling to me.

I haven't read him yet. Not sure whether this one is appealing to me or not.

Hi Trina. I've been the same this year - no real stand-outs. What did you love about Margo's Got Money Troubles? #devonbookhour

I am fascinated by the 'feel' of books from differnet countries - sometimes there is a common sense of them and what it says about their country. How many countries remain on your challenge? #devonbookhour

#devonbookhour Hex was different from most horror books that I've read. A pretty terrifying plot, you're dropped into the story without knowing what's going on and gradually find out as you read.

I remember you talking about that one. I like to ask for favourites because, with the breadth and diversity of our community, it brings loads of great recommendations to add to my TBR list - a double-edged sword of course #devonbookhour

No - me either. I tend to catch up much further down the line. I keep meaning to give Hex a go - what makes it stand out for you? #devonbookhour

Certainly a classic if Bogart is in it but obviously stood the test of time and gal the other book is holding your attention. Any contenders for your favourite of the year so far? #devonbookhour

Tend to agree but I'm still a sucker for long lists, short lists and the prizes themselves. Hw's your book week been? #devonbookhour
