Every single woman you know has had this happen to her. Even the goddamn president of Mexico.
Brava: “If I don’t file a complaint, then what message does that send to all Mexican women?” Ms. Sheinbaum said at her daily news conference, noting sexual harassment was a crime… “If this can happen to the president, what’s going to happen to all the young women & women across our country?”

Anyone interested in learning about why journals make a proactive effort to increase women's participation in the peer review process should take the time look at some actual evidence about why this is needed. Ditto journalists covering such a story. Do some reporting! www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Women are credited less in science than men - Nature
The difference between the number of men and women listed as authors on scientific papers and inventors on patents is at least partly attributable to unacknowledged contributions by women scientists.

When “experts” say COVID-19 is mild for kids…

THEY HAD, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TEN YEARS WORTH OF INFECTIONS WILL CAUSE.

If people are talking about removing the right to remain of “legal” migrants who have lived and worked (and paid tax) here, then they don’t believe that anyone “not from here” can “integrate”.

Thank you do it going to my TED talk.

Your regular reminder that any kind of racist message always travels faster and reaches more people than a half-hearted apology issued days later.

The true target audience doesn't care about the apology and keeps celebrating the original message.

In 2008 our financial institutions collapsed under their weight of their incompetence and avarice. Rather than sending the people responsible to jail we bailed them out with taxpayer money and made massive spending cuts to pay for it.

And we’ve NEVER recovered.
Bonuses on Wall Street are expected to break records this year as big bank profits soar.

Bubbles are everywhere - from tech stocks, to corporate bonds - and the banks are profiting.

But they won't be the ones to pay when the crash finally comes.
