You know who interviewed Hulk Hogan in 1989? Barbara Johnson. She was at home. He was in a limo, on a presumably giant car phone, in LA. She listed this interview in her selected pubs alongside her better known work. As printed, the interview is interrupted by one with Gayatri Spivak.

Everything is terrible so I dug up Texts from Jane Eyre to share the Wuthering Heights entry w my students. Never noticed the Doctor Moreau entry. Can’t believe Frankenstein & Dracula are absent! Anyone have that wild Twitter thread on reading Drac for the 1st time? The play-by-play was hysterical.

Over the weekend I learned thx to my colleague-friend’s kid that Lego flowers exist and I definitely did not just order this Lego flower kit for myself and it will definitely not go in my campus office when it is finished and I definitely won’t buy more (what is a green thumb?).
