Any Democratic senator, at any moment, could've derailed this by calling for Schumer's replacement and casting their colleagues as MAGA collaborators, thereby shifting the Overton window. But they're all in on it. This was always a team effort.

Schumer voting no like everyone doesn’t know he orchestrated this crap is laughable. Maybe the constituents he consults with in his head told him that this was a REALLY clever idea that NOBODY would realize. I hate all of these losers so much!
