I read it this summer, and I’ve never been more simultaneously confused/enthralled while being both happy to have it finished but also sad that I had finished it.

I read Frantz’s book, but can’t recall if he got into how this version of the band came together. Really want to know more - like, the difference between record & live is just mind boggling (and I like the records just fine).

But, among others…bringing in Bernie Worrell and Adrian Belew is nuts.

Pretty much how this entire tour has hit me, but especially Chicago. That entire wknd felt transcendent.

Digging the new record - very different from the last one, which was very different from Pale Horse Rider. I like 'em all...he's becoming one of my favorite musicians (and I dig Wand, but still haven't really gotten deep with them).
