From what I heard there also be lots of right wing men pretending to be liberal just to get into woman's pants. So there's that aspect of danger as well.

The example i got in my head was how advertisement manipulate that bit of irrationality.
I.e. by plastering green color to a product, people would think it is "healthy" or "natural". We didn't stop to properly check is it really what we assumed?
