The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

India has followed Russia’s model of forcing phone OEM to preinstall gov’t published apps on phones…which cannot be deleted by users. I’m a fan of digital sovereignty, but not like this. Too much potential for surveillance abuse.

I never want to hear the term “political theatre” again. I want to hear ”political utopia,” or perhaps “political ASMR,” instead.

We have been squeezed to death for far too long.

Admitting this fact is the first step.
GUARDIAN: “Per head, 🇺🇸 output is six times China’s, and yet, inexplicably, there seem to be more abjectly poor Americans than Chinese. 🇺🇸 inequality is breathtaking… keeps getting worse…”

Wanting to address this isn’t radical.

NOT wanting to is.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

It is hard to be a competitive athlete. All consuming. I have to imagine it must be incredibly hard to build a life for yourself that wasn’t ready made. No way it’s easy to navigate physical, emotional, familial, social, aesthetic changes. Add that on top of competing. Someone needs that reality.

Hard disagree. Buttigieg's recent appearances prove he's out of touch with the populist moment we're in. Jasmine Crockett offered to be the spokesperson and the old guard blocked her. The Dems need someone who is youngish, passionate, tough and unafraid to call the fascists out.
